Plain, Common Kabalarian Sense

Plain, Common Kabalarian Sense
First of all, what is the light that shines within? It is the light of Consciousness. And what is the light of Consciousness? It is just good, plain common Kabalarian sense, nothing very fantastic, but it is very important. We can all live very, very constructively, if we just try. Our problem seems to be that we grow impatient, lose incentive, and criticize ourselves for our weaknesses, our shortcomings, and our failures, and we begin to snuff out the light. That is why any time we listen to the Teacher's tapes, we read his books, or we have good stimulating discussions, the incentive is much greater, the enthusiasm that much closer to the surface. It is so much easier to do the many things that we know we want to do.

The light that shines within is that spark that comes from the first breath, measured from the birthpath, expressed according to the qualities of conscious expression through the name. Yet the light itself remains somewhat of an unknown quality, because we are who we are and what we are because of what we have done. We do not usually think that is much of a light, ad in many cases it is not really that much of a light. Yet, we fail to appreciate that the degree of understanding of life that we have is a definite light of conscious intelligence.
Link to Every Plane
The light that shines within is the greater universal power. It is the power in the seed; it is the potential of the Universal Consciousness itself. It is a link to it. It is like having a telephone line through which to dial to the wide world. The spark within is the link to every conceivable plane of Universal Intelligence. It is the power that provides life; it is the power that provides conscious growth and stimulation, the power of life. Most of us are so involved in living life that we do not think about the power of life itself and just how much of a power we are and could be, if we just applied ourselves that much more.
Product of Our Thinking
Do we not all wonder as to what the future actually holds for us? That is a question that every living person must think about from time to time. We have the cycles; we have our inner potential measured through mathematics. We have some things to measure by, but still there is that vague wonderment of what will transpire in the future. Will we become rich and successful? Will we be happy? Will we get married? These questions create a state of incompleteness, or wonderment.

We must realize that that Principle is the greatest power in the world. Many of us wonder what we can do to create the future as we want it. Of course, we all know that we are a product of our thinking. The fact that we are exactly where we are, single or married, happy or discontented, is all a product of our thinking. The answer is the same old answer that we have had given to us for years and is one that to many people lacks imagination and specific guidance, and does not really offer the encouragement and specific advice they so desperately look for; but the best answer, and really the only answer, is to apply the Principle to a far greater degree.
