Part 1: Use your 3-Month Cycle Chart

The same Mathematical Principle that was used in analyzing your names is now used to measure your cycle from your date of birth. Your date of birth relates you to the whole of nature and to the influence of cycle patterns.

Definition of Time

How do we define time? Time is really "intelligence in motion" because time is actually growth that starts from a point called seeding and extends through to fruition or harvest when completion of growth takes place and seeds for the next cycle are provided. Through time and growth all things fulfil their purposes. That is the spiritual purpose of time. A person's urges are felt through the emotions, and then transmitted into expression. Often there is the urge to make a change, to start something different, or to travel; while at other times there is the urge to settle down, to associate with people, or to get away from people and be out in nature on your own. These are the feelings and urges that can be relative to a particular phase we call a "cycle".

How do you acquire the skills needed to thrive in your personal and business life, to achieve your goals of self-improvement, career advancement, and personal happiness and to stop the stress that can leave you feeling pressured, frazzled, and frustrated?

Understand Time

The answer lies in a better understanding of time, and better yet, how your date of birth creates your personal cycle within time and reveals the best way to guide the many decisions you make. Each cycle phase brings changing conditions that can be understood. Your thoughts, feelings, and actions are influenced by your personal cycle and in knowing the nature of your cycle, you are better able to plan, act, and make decisions confidently and at the right time to ensure success. You have to know the quality of your day. Will your efforts succeed today? Or is this a day to further technical matters, to buy and sell profitably, or to set up important appointments? In following the natural cyclic forces within time, you will minimize the stress, get the job completed, and have time to create greater balance and harmony in your life.

Part 2: Overview of the 9 Phases of Cycles

The Progress of Cycles

Cycles progress in nine-year, nine-month, and nine-day cycles. The cycles are not the same for everyone at the same time, but each person must pass through the same sequence of cycles. When you learn to create in complete harmony with the cyclic conditions of each passing day, then you will know the best time to start an undertaking and how to follow it through to ensure complete success. Not working with the cycles—either consciously or unconsciously—means working harder and, though there seems to be progress, suddenly finding that your efforts are not rewarded. Days, months, or perhaps years of effort can be wasted; or you partially succeed in one aspect of life and fail in others, and then wonder why. Knowledge of cycles eliminates the uncertainty. Do not be hesitant about the future; master it by linking your mind with time and create the future as you wish it. This is your birthright.

The Cycles from 1 to 9

The chart below reveals, briefly, the natural unfoldment of the rhythms of cycles from 1 to 9 and how you can make use of these qualities whether yearly, monthly, or daily.

We use the symbol of a plant as a visual image to assist you in understanding the nine stages of growth that draw a parallel to your cycles.

	The 1-cycle is the starting point of a new 9-year era in your life when new ambitions and activities should be sown and cultivated carefully over the following cycles. It is a time to make changes in your thinking and a time to work hard. Action is the keynote. In this cycle, there is little to show for efforts expended as it is the seeding or starting time. In plant growth, the 1-cycle is like the seed just being planted.
	In the 2-cycle, continue to further your ambitions but include greater contact with people. Progress is made through sociability and discussion. It is a natural time to think about and benefit from the ideas and perspective of others. Be a good listener. If in business, build your clientele and make yourself known. It might be a good time to consider a partnership if in business. In plant growth, the 2-cycle represents germination when the little roots from the seed draw nutrients from outside sources.
	The 3-cycle represents self-expression—getting yourself known through your own promotional efforts. This period of time brings some promising conditions and it is the time to draw upon what has been learned from others and from your own thoughts to further the growth of ideas and activities. The 3-cycle is optimistic and promising, but can close with a disappointment if you are overly optimistic. In plant growth, the 3-cycle represents the sprouting, the first promise of growth.
	The 4-cycle represents the strengthening and testing of activities which were started in the 1-cycle. Strengthen the foundation of efforts by attending to and being aware of the technical details. It represents a time for caution, a time to work hard, and the time to systematize efforts, to exercise patience and optimism. Do not start anything new. Save your financial supply. In plant growth, the 4-cycle represents the root growth, the foundation for the plant's future growth.
	The 5-cycle represents the opportunity for expansion of activities, new action to be taken, a time for new experiences, education, travel, and change supported by the strong foundation built in the 4-cycle. Make necessary changes to further your ambitions. In plant growth, the 5-cycle represents the rapid expansion of the plant above the ground because the strong root system can handle it.
	The 6-cycle is often the indicator of the harvest. It is a time to put your affairs in order to prepare for the fruition—paying bills, settling accounts, taking on responsibilities, and making decisions. It is the right time to consolidate after the rapid growth of the previous cycle—rearrangement of affairs and settling indebtedness, if necessary. In plant growth, the buds appear; another indication of the harvest to come.
	The 7-cycle represents a time of reflection, to step back and attach to your activities thoughtful consideration of where you are, and whether you have maintained your ideals and goals. As much as possible withdraw from activities to think into the deeper things in life, enjoy nature to find peace and relaxation. In plant growth, the 7-cycle represents the flower stage when pollination takes the plant to the next level of growth.
	The 8-cycle represents the harvest of efforts—the time when tangible results of thinking and efforts are forthcoming. Rewards are commensurate with your efforts. Work to bring accomplishments to a successful conclusion. In plant growth, this is the harvest—the fruit is on the tree—the fulfilment of the plant's purpose, in which the seeds for the next cycle of growth are now contained within the core.
	The 9-cycle is the time to plan for the coming new cycle of 1 to 9, conditions in the 9-cycle are indefinite. Do not start anything new now. Rest a little more; take that much needed time to rebuild your energies. You will be more emotional this year so avoid be objective to avoid friction and involvements. In plant growth, it is the period of resting, the wintertime for the plant.

Part 3: You are in a 5-Cycle Year For 2023

It is your year to broaden out and put forth superhuman effort to get started in, or further, whatever it is your ambition to accomplish. Do not procrastinate because the efforts which you make this year are vital to the harvest years of this cycle which begin two years hence, and when you will reap whatever you have sown.

This is your year for change, travel, and new experiences. There will be the opportunity to make many new contacts who should prove of considerable value to you later. However, it is also an educational year and you must be very careful or there could be some bitter experiences encountered and much learned at a cost. Conditions are so different from the inaction of last year that you feel restless and unsettled, and want to do big things; consequently, you are apt to make hasty decisions and act impulsively. Be cautious, analyze, think things over carefully, and then put forth every effort to accomplish your goals.

Avoid unnecessary travel on your test, or adverse, days in your adverse months. If you drive your own car, be extra careful on those days and months where the Cycle Chart indicates that expenses are heavy and make sure that carelessness is not the cause of heavy expenses and the necessity of settling indebtedness. If you will exercise caution during such adverse periods, then you have nothing to worry about.

Although it is not an accumulative year, you can accomplish a great deal which will bring you accumulation later on during your harvest cycle years. Be progressive and sow seeds of ambition to build up your undertakings. If you do not put forth constructive effort, then you will have nothing to reap in your harvest years.

If you have been inclined towards sensitivity or nervousness, you will be more sensitive this year. Relax as much as possible between your activities and be careful of your diet. Guard your moods and emotions because you are apt to be too high-strung. Cultivate patience and placidity.

May — At A Glance

The first half of this month is especially active and constructive; things should come your way. You should be able to sell anything of value or collect money owing you this month. The best period of the month for materialization of your undertakings is around the 18th, although the whole month is fairly good with conditions stable and accumulative. There could to be a disappointment in personal affairs regarding close associations in the latter part of the month. Endeavour to complete the more important business or personal affairs by the 18th and thus minimize disappointment. Conditions should be more accumulative than in any previous month of this year. Try to force business issues to a beneficial conclusion and reap financial rewards for previous efforts put forth. If you have anything of value to sell this year, or money to collect, this is the month in which to do it.

Materialize your plans and desires, for things should come your way. Make new contacts in business affairs and close deals. Collect money, and sell at a profit. These are good days to accomplish in any undertaking or to reap rewards for previous efforts. They are good days to shop; you would find what suits you.

3-12-21-30

(6/9 cycle day)

These are days for reflection over business and personal problems. Plan your future actions carefully and make your decisions, but defer action. Something is working under the surface. Relax and rest and do not let these influences disturb you or cause moods or friction.

4-13-22-31

(7/1 cycle day)

Conditions should be very active and progressive and you should put forth every effort to further your interests, whatever they may be. The afternoon brings more definite and positive conditions and allows you to accomplish things. Do not procrastinate on these days. Whatever you start is of vital importance to the success of the following days.

5-14-23

(8/2 cycle day)

These days are good although not as active as previous days. Contact the public and make that friendly call for the purpose of furthering your interests through congenial associations. Be tactful and diplomatic, but not forceful. These are good days to entertain.

6-15-24

(9/3 cycle day)

You are very emotional. Guard against hasty speech and temper. In necessary undertakings, accomplish all that you can before noon, as the day closes with a disappointment. Be careful in associations during the latter part of the day. Avoid friction. Relax.

7-16-25

(1/4 cycle day)

Conditions are adverse and anything started would not materialize satisfactorily. Defer important actions and attend only to technical detail work that is necessary but not important or vital. These are days for hard, monotonous work to strengthen anything already started.

(2/5 cycle day)

You should broaden out in your affairs, make new contacts, and put forth great effort to start anything it is your ambition to accomplish. These are good days for change and travel and for making progress through the assistance of others. Be diplomatic and think carefully before you act, as you are inclined to be too impulsive and easily influenced.

Rearrange your affairs and finances. Indebtedness must be settled. Expenses are heavy. Make decisions and straighten out any business or personal problems. The first half of the day is the best. Conditions are procreative; there is something working under the surface of things. Conditions are progressive but not accumulative.

June — At A Glance

This is a very indefinite month, for whatever that you thought would materialize will not do so. Do not allow the inactive conditions to cause you to worry. Guard your speech and actions as you are being tested regarding those in close associations at this time. Exercise great care in your conduct, and be patient and tolerant. Reflect carefully upon your problems but do not expect to accomplish very much. Guard personal safety. Be careful in your diet, avoiding heavy foods, sugars, or starches. Drink plenty of water and eat fresh and cooked vegetables. If you are working at a job in the employ of others, be forewarned to be on your toes at all times. (6/1 cycle day)

You should start any necessary undertakings, for these are very active days, considering the condition of the whole month, and much can be accomplished. Make your own decisions and act upon them. Put your affairs in order. Sow some seeds of ambition, even though it be in a minor way.

3-12-21-30

(7/2 cycle day)

Meet and mix and further your affairs and undertakings through congenial associations and diplomatic channels. You are inclined to be too negative and sensitive. Guard your emotions. Attend to correspondence. These are good days to entertain. These days are not accumulative or progressive.

4-13-22

(8/3 cycle day)

Conditions should be very good and much can be accomplished, especially during the first half of the day, or until 1:30 p.m. There is apt to be a disappointment in financial affairs the latter part of the day. Be active, but be careful in all dealings. Put forth effort.

Conditions are very adverse. Do not take any chances. Retrench in business and in personal affairs. Your efforts would be useless. These are the most active days of the whole month. If changes must be made, these are the days to act. These are good days for travel in short journeys. Do not spare yourself, for your activities are vital to following success or rewards. These are educational days. Much will be learned through experiences.

(2/6 cycle day)

Indebtedness should be settled and responsibilities assumed in personal affairs. Make decisions and put your affairs in order. Make an effort to straighten out any personal or business problem. Conditions are not accumulative but much can be accomplished through effort.

(3/7 cycle day)

Conditions as a whole will be rather unsettled and not conducive to important matters. Be careful in your personal or business affairs, for conditions are not progressive.

(4/8 cycle day)

Under the surface there are some unsettled conditions in personal affairs, some obstacle to be met and overcome. There may be some unexpected finances come to you, in a small way. Be careful in all your dealings.

July — At A Glance

This is the most active month of an active year, the month in which something of importance should be started, when changes should be made, and when great effort should be put forth to broaden out in your undertakings in business or in personal affairs. This is an excellent time to travel and to seek new experiences; if interested in business, to seek new prospects. Action should be the keynote this month as the forces of nature are with you for expansion in your undertakings. This is an active year when every effort should be made to sow seeds of ambition and to branch out and grow mentally, as well as in your affairs. It is the beginning of a very progressive five-year period, and this month of July intensifies the conditions of the year. Take advantage of this month. Remember that if you do not sow any seeds of ambition you cannot hope to reap success. Now is your time definitely to make any contemplated change. This is not an accumulative period, but rather, a time to start things that will bring remuneration later.
