Part 1: Use your 3-Month Cycle Chart

The same Mathematical Principle that was used in analyzing your names is now used to measure your cycle from your date of birth. Your date of birth relates you to the whole of nature and to the influence of cycle patterns.

Definition of Time

How do we define time? Time is really "intelligence in motion" because time is actually growth that starts from a point called seeding and extends through to fruition or harvest when completion of growth takes place and seeds for the next cycle are provided. Through time and growth all things fulfil their purposes. That is the spiritual purpose of time. A person's urges are felt through the emotions, and then transmitted into expression. Often there is the urge to make a change, to start something different, or to travel; while at other times there is the urge to settle down, to associate with people, or to get away from people and be out in nature on your own. These are the feelings and urges that can be relative to a particular phase we call a "cycle".

How do you acquire the skills needed to thrive in your personal and business life, to achieve your goals of self-improvement, career advancement, and personal happiness and to stop the stress that can leave you feeling pressured, frazzled, and frustrated?

Understand Time

The answer lies in a better understanding of time, and better yet, how your date of birth creates your personal cycle within time and reveals the best way to guide the many decisions you make. Each cycle phase brings changing conditions that can be understood. Your thoughts, feelings, and actions are influenced by your personal cycle and in knowing the nature of your cycle, you are better able to plan, act, and make decisions confidently and at the right time to ensure success. You have to know the quality of your day. Will your efforts succeed today? Or is this a day to further technical matters, to buy and sell profitably, or to set up important appointments? In following the natural cyclic forces within time, you will minimize the stress, get the job completed, and have time to create greater balance and harmony in your life.

Part 2: Overview of the 9 Phases of Cycles

The Progress of Cycles

Cycles progress in nine-year, nine-month, and nine-day cycles. The cycles are not the same for everyone at the same time, but each person must pass through the same sequence of cycles. When you learn to create in complete harmony with the cyclic conditions of each passing day, then you will know the best time to start an undertaking and how to follow it through to ensure complete success. Not working with the cycles—either consciously or unconsciously—means working harder and, though there seems to be progress, suddenly finding that your efforts are not rewarded. Days, months, or perhaps years of effort can be wasted; or you partially succeed in one aspect of life and fail in others, and then wonder why. Knowledge of cycles eliminates the uncertainty. Do not be hesitant about the future; master it by linking your mind with time and create the future as you wish it. This is your birthright.

The Cycles from 1 to 9

The chart below reveals, briefly, the natural unfoldment of the rhythms of cycles from 1 to 9 and how you can make use of these qualities whether yearly, monthly, or daily.

We use the symbol of a plant as a visual image to assist you in understanding the nine stages of growth that draw a parallel to your cycles.

	The 1-cycle is the starting point of a new 9-year era in your life when new ambitions and activities should be sown and cultivated carefully over the following cycles. It is a time to make changes in your thinking and a time to work hard. Action is the keynote. In this cycle, there is little to show for efforts expended as it is the seeding or starting time. In plant growth, the 1-cycle is like the seed just being planted.
	In the 2-cycle, continue to further your ambitions but include greater contact with people. Progress is made through sociability and discussion. It is a natural time to think about and benefit from the ideas and perspective of others. Be a good listener. If in business, build your clientele and make yourself known. It might be a good time to consider a partnership if in business. In plant growth, the 2-cycle represents germination when the little roots from the seed draw nutrients from outside sources.
	The 3-cycle represents self-expression—getting yourself known through your own promotional efforts. This period of time brings some promising conditions and it is the time to draw upon what has been learned from others and from your own thoughts to further the growth of ideas and activities. The 3-cycle is optimistic and promising, but can close with a disappointment if you are overly optimistic. In plant growth, the 3-cycle represents the sprouting, the first promise of growth.
	The 4-cycle represents the strengthening and testing of activities which were started in the 1-cycle. Strengthen the foundation of efforts by attending to and being aware of the technical details. It represents a time for caution, a time to work hard, and the time to systematize efforts, to exercise patience and optimism. Do not start anything new. Save your financial supply. In plant growth, the 4-cycle represents the root growth, the foundation for the plant's future growth.
	The 5-cycle represents the opportunity for expansion of activities, new action to be taken, a time for new experiences, education, travel, and change supported by the strong foundation built in the 4-cycle. Make necessary changes to further your ambitions. In plant growth, the 5-cycle represents the rapid expansion of the plant above the ground because the strong root system can handle it.
	The 6-cycle is often the indicator of the harvest. It is a time to put your affairs in order to prepare for the fruition—paying bills, settling accounts, taking on responsibilities, and making decisions. It is the right time to consolidate after the rapid growth of the previous cycle—rearrangement of affairs and settling indebtedness, if necessary. In plant growth, the buds appear; another indication of the harvest to come.
	The 7-cycle represents a time of reflection, to step back and attach to your activities thoughtful consideration of where you are, and whether you have maintained your ideals and goals. As much as possible withdraw from activities to think into the deeper things in life, enjoy nature to find peace and relaxation. In plant growth, the 7-cycle represents the flower stage when pollination takes the plant to the next level of growth.
	The 8-cycle represents the harvest of efforts—the time when tangible results of thinking and efforts are forthcoming. Rewards are commensurate with your efforts. Work to bring accomplishments to a successful conclusion. In plant growth, this is the harvest—the fruit is on the tree—the fulfilment of the plant's purpose, in which the seeds for the next cycle of growth are now contained within the core.
	The 9-cycle is the time to plan for the coming new cycle of 1 to 9, conditions in the 9-cycle are indefinite. Do not start anything new now. Rest a little more; take that much needed time to rebuild your energies. You will be more emotional this year so avoid be objective to avoid friction and involvements. In plant growth, it is the period of resting, the wintertime for the plant.

Part 3: You are in a 3-Cycle Year For 2023

Your birth date of January 12, 1902 discloses that for 2023 you are in a 3-cycle year of a nine year cycle phase.

This is the third and last year of the foundation period of a nine-year cycle for you. It is the period of time when you should have been sowing seeds of ambition and building a foundation so that you can successfully pass through the test period that you will experience for one and one-half years following July of this year. Every nine years all people pass through a test period of their cycles and the success of this period depends upon their natures, together with their understanding and application of the natural laws of life. This is a period when any weaknesses in your business, your occupation, your health, or your personal life will show up. In order to pass through this period successfully, you must act in harmony with the cycles as well as other natural laws.

The first half of the year should bring some very promising and active conditions; but do not allow these promises to cause you to be misled into taking action in some major undertaking, or planning vital changes and important accomplishments for the latter half of the year. Remember that regardless of all the good propositions which you may be offered during the first half of this year, unless they can be materialized by the 18th of July, there will be a disappointment.

This is a year that starts out with great promise, but could end with a disappointment. Arrange your business and personal undertakings in order that you can further and complete as much as possible during the good months in the early part of the year. Do not make plans to extend your efforts, or to invest, or to make important changes from July onwards throughout the following 18-month period. Use the good cycle months to take advantage of any short-term opportunities and then save your finances. Retrench and work hard to strengthen whatever you have already started.

May — At A Glance

There are conditions working under the surface that are trying to force you into definite action in regard to the starting of something or making a change. However, you must be careful this month; retrench in decisions and action. Attend to technical detail work and weigh your actions carefully. It is a month of hard work, monotony, materiality, and obstacles to be overcome. If there is a flaw in your plans or a weakness in the physical body, it is apt to test you this month. Eat lightly, and be moderate in the use of sugars and starchy foods and, preferably, avoid meat. See that the function of elimination is not neglected. Do not start anything new this month as it would not work out successfully.

You are inclined to be over-sensitive and emotional. Complete all undertakings before noon. The afternoon is disappointing and things will not work out right. These days are not accumulative. Put forth effort in small things of an unimportant nature.

Be careful that the morning does not lead you into promising something that you cannot carry out. These days are adverse. Be careful in every way. Guard personal safety. Do not make changes. These days are good only for hard work of a monotonous nature. Conditions are not accumulative. Be careful. Retrench.

These are active days but there are some adverse conditions under the surface creating obstacles. Be careful in all ways, especially in travel. Attend to technical detail work and accomplish all you can along this line. The latter half of the day is the best for accomplishment. Avoid unnecessary travel.

(5/6 cycle day)

These are constructive days and much can be accomplished in business affairs. Assume responsibility. Indebtedness must be settled and decisions made. Be careful in associations and do not enter into important dealings unless forced to, and then exercise great care and leave nothing to chance on these days.

5-14-23

(6/7 cycle day)

Conditions are unsettled in the morning but better in the latter half of the day. Seek beneficial settlements in minor affairs, as the general conditions of the month retard great success. Do not expect too much. You may be forced to make a settlement against your desires. Seek rewards for previous efforts.

6-15-24

(7/8 cycle day)

These are good days for accomplishment and accumulation; these are the most accumulative days when you should reap the rewards of previous efforts. This is your harvest period of the nine-day cycle.

7-16-25

(8/9 cycle day)

These days are good in personal affairs but rather unsettled in business affairs. There could be some money come to you through close associations, perhaps paid back. Guard emotions and speech to avoid friction and do not worry. Plan carefully for the future, but defer action. Review the events of the past nine days.

8-17-26

(9/1 cycle day)

Start anything of a minor nature. There is a great urge for action, but because of the conditions of the month there are obstacles to be met and overcome before you can go ahead. On these days lay plans for actions in the coming month. These days are progressive but not accumulative.

9-18-27

(1/2 cycle day)

Further your interests through social contacts. Conditions are very passive in business affairs. Do not press issues. The time is not yet ripe. Just make necessary personal contacts for future use. Days are not accumulative. Work because it is a foundation period.

June — At A Glance

This is a very active month, a wonderful time to make new contacts and go after business prospects relative to your future success. Meet and mix and make personal calls as your efforts this month are vital to the success of the next three months. Let activity be your keynote and try to contact the public as much as possible as there are lessons to be learned in this way. There should be social activity and you should not shirk it. Meet the right types and take advantage of all opportunities. Your activities and contacts will bear fruit later. Make necessary changes of a minor nature. This is a good month for travel and active accomplishment. Do not procrastinate, as you are soon entering your test period when it will be much harder for you to accomplish things.

Let action be your keynote and accomplish all you can, but be careful of bitter experiences and disappointments the latter half of the day. The disappointments are apt to be in close associations. These are good days for travel. Further your affairs.

(4/6 cycle day)

Expenses are very heavy. Settle indebtedness. Do not try to close any important deals or to materialize plans as conditions are not favourable. Attend to technical detail work. Do not buy, sell, or invest as conditions concerning finances are adverse. Avoid paying out through carelessness.

3-12-21-30

(5/7 cycle day)

Make new contacts. Also push your undertakings to a favourable settlement in the latter half of the day. Your nervous system is sensitive. Try to relax and rest between activities. Much can be accomplished. These are good days for travel.

4-13-22

(6/8 cycle day)

These are the best days financially in this month. Take advantage of them to collect outstanding money. Conclude your plans in important actions. Conditions are favourable to you and you can accomplish much. You should receive rewards for your efforts.

5-14-23

(7/9 cycle day)

Conditions are rather indefinite and hard on your nervous system. Relax and rest. Plan, but defer action. Reflect and meditate and carefully make your plans for the future. Do not worry.

6-15-24

(8/1 cycle day)

These are good days in every way; they are both active and accumulative. Start new undertakings as action should be your keynote. Things come your way and valuable contacts could be made. Keep busy in business and personal affairs.

7-16-25

(9/2 cycle day)

These are days for social contacts; conditions are very passive. Do not try to force issues. Make social visits. You will accomplish much through diplomacy in contact with others. Attend to correspondence.

8-17-26

(1/3 cycle day)

Unless your undertakings can be completed before noon on these days, there is not much chance of accomplishment except between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. There is apt to be a disappointment either in business or in personal affairs before the close of day. The morning is good.

9-18-27

(2/4 cycle day)

Be careful in associations and guard speech; actions to avoid friction. Retrench in important affairs and guard personal safety. Conditions are not good.

July — At A Glance

Expenses are heavy for you this month as it is your time to settle indebtedness, to rearrange affairs and financial matters, and to put your house in order. There is a decision to be made in your affairs. The first half of the month is the most positive and definite. Try to materialize your undertakings by the 18th as the latter half of the month could bring a disappointment or adverse conditions when your judgment would not be as accurate as it should be. You are entering your test period this month. Be forewarned; guard everything you do and weigh all matters carefully. Do not act hastily. The conditions of the month are procreative. Something is working under the surface requiring a decision around the close of this month. Save your financial supply and do not assume added responsibility, for you will find the latter part of this whole year very trying to your patience and pocketbook.

(4/7 cycle day)

There is much technicality to work out in your affairs, little details to attend to. Conditions are unsettled during the first half of the day, but better in the latter half. Although there is an adverse undertone that spoils accomplishment in major undertakings, much can be accomplished in work requiring technicality and attention to detail.

2-11-20-29

(5/8 cycle day)

Make valuable contacts and sell things of value at a profit. Complete business dealings. Collect money due you. Reap rewards of previous efforts. Much can be accomplished; put forth effort.

3-12-21-30

(6/9 cycle day)

Conditions are unsettled and indefinite. Plan and decide things but defer positive action until tomorrow. Avoid arguments and try to think constructively. Expenses will be heavy in personal affairs. There are problems to decide for yourself and for others. These are days of procreation. Control moods.

4-13-22-31

(7/1 cycle day)

You should start things. Conditions are very favourable to constructive progress during the afternoon. Put forth effort, as much can be accomplished. Seek beneficial settlements regarding the starting of something.

5-14-23

(8/2 cycle day)

Further your affairs through social channels and diplomacy. Entertain your business prospect or friends. Business and financial conditions are favourable, although not intensely active. (9/3 cycle day)
