Part 1: Use your 3-Month Cycle Chart

The same Mathematical Principle that was used in analyzing your names is now used to measure your cycle from your date of birth. Your date of birth relates you to the whole of nature and to the influence of cycle patterns.

Definition of Time

How do we define time? Time is really "intelligence in motion" because time is actually growth that starts from a point called seeding and extends through to fruition or harvest when completion of growth takes place and seeds for the next cycle are provided. Through time and growth all things fulfil their purposes. That is the spiritual purpose of time. A person's urges are felt through the emotions, and then transmitted into expression. Often there is the urge to make a change, to start something different, or to travel; while at other times there is the urge to settle down, to associate with people, or to get away from people and be out in nature on your own. These are the feelings and urges that can be relative to a particular phase we call a "cycle".

How do you acquire the skills needed to thrive in your personal and business life, to achieve your goals of self-improvement, career advancement, and personal happiness and to stop the stress that can leave you feeling pressured, frazzled, and frustrated?

Understand Time

The answer lies in a better understanding of time, and better yet, how your date of birth creates your personal cycle within time and reveals the best way to guide the many decisions you make. Each cycle phase brings changing conditions that can be understood. Your thoughts, feelings, and actions are influenced by your personal cycle and in knowing the nature of your cycle, you are better able to plan, act, and make decisions confidently and at the right time to ensure success. You have to know the quality of your day. Will your efforts succeed today? Or is this a day to further technical matters, to buy and sell profitably, or to set up important appointments? In following the natural cyclic forces within time, you will minimize the stress, get the job completed, and have time to create greater balance and harmony in your life.

Part 2: Overview of the 9 Phases of Cycles

The Progress of Cycles

Cycles progress in nine-year, nine-month, and nine-day cycles. The cycles are not the same for everyone at the same time, but each person must pass through the same sequence of cycles. When you learn to create in complete harmony with the cyclic conditions of each passing day, then you will know the best time to start an undertaking and how to follow it through to ensure complete success. Not working with the cycles—either consciously or unconsciously—means working harder and, though there seems to be progress, suddenly finding that your efforts are not rewarded. Days, months, or perhaps years of effort can be wasted; or you partially succeed in one aspect of life and fail in others, and then wonder why. Knowledge of cycles eliminates the uncertainty. Do not be hesitant about the future; master it by linking your mind with time and create the future as you wish it. This is your birthright.

The Cycles from 1 to 9

The chart below reveals, briefly, the natural unfoldment of the rhythms of cycles from 1 to 9 and how you can make use of these qualities whether yearly, monthly, or daily.

We use the symbol of a plant as a visual image to assist you in understanding the nine stages of growth that draw a parallel to your cycles.

	The 1-cycle is the starting point of a new 9-year era in your life when new ambitions and activities should be sown and cultivated carefully over the following cycles. It is a time to make changes in your thinking and a time to work hard. Action is the keynote. In this cycle, there is little to show for efforts expended as it is the seeding or starting time. In plant growth, the 1-cycle is like the seed just being planted.
	In the 2-cycle, continue to further your ambitions but include greater contact with people. Progress is made through sociability and discussion. It is a natural time to think about and benefit from the ideas and perspective of others. Be a good listener. If in business, build your clientele and make yourself known. It might be a good time to consider a partnership if in business. In plant growth, the 2-cycle represents germination when the little roots from the seed draw nutrients from outside sources.
	The 3-cycle represents self-expression—getting yourself known through your own promotional efforts. This period of time brings some promising conditions and it is the time to draw upon what has been learned from others and from your own thoughts to further the growth of ideas and activities. The 3-cycle is optimistic and promising, but can close with a disappointment if you are overly optimistic. In plant growth, the 3-cycle represents the sprouting, the first promise of growth.
	The 4-cycle represents the strengthening and testing of activities which were started in the 1-cycle. Strengthen the foundation of efforts by attending to and being aware of the technical details. It represents a time for caution, a time to work hard, and the time to systematize efforts, to exercise patience and optimism. Do not start anything new. Save your financial supply. In plant growth, the 4-cycle represents the root growth, the foundation for the plant's future growth.
	The 5-cycle represents the opportunity for expansion of activities, new action to be taken, a time for new experiences, education, travel, and change supported by the strong foundation built in the 4-cycle. Make necessary changes to further your ambitions. In plant growth, the 5-cycle represents the rapid expansion of the plant above the ground because the strong root system can handle it.
	The 6-cycle is often the indicator of the harvest. It is a time to put your affairs in order to prepare for the fruition—paying bills, settling accounts, taking on responsibilities, and making decisions. It is the right time to consolidate after the rapid growth of the previous cycle—rearrangement of affairs and settling indebtedness, if necessary. In plant growth, the buds appear; another indication of the harvest to come.
	The 7-cycle represents a time of reflection, to step back and attach to your activities thoughtful consideration of where you are, and whether you have maintained your ideals and goals. As much as possible withdraw from activities to think into the deeper things in life, enjoy nature to find peace and relaxation. In plant growth, the 7-cycle represents the flower stage when pollination takes the plant to the next level of growth.
	The 8-cycle represents the harvest of efforts—the time when tangible results of thinking and efforts are forthcoming. Rewards are commensurate with your efforts. Work to bring accomplishments to a successful conclusion. In plant growth, this is the harvest—the fruit is on the tree—the fulfilment of the plant's purpose, in which the seeds for the next cycle of growth are now contained within the core.
	The 9-cycle is the time to plan for the coming new cycle of 1 to 9, conditions in the 9-cycle are indefinite. Do not start anything new now. Rest a little more; take that much needed time to rebuild your energies. You will be more emotional this year so avoid be objective to avoid friction and involvements. In plant growth, it is the period of resting, the wintertime for the plant.

Part 3: You are in a 9-Cycle Year For 2023

Your birth date of July 12, 1902 discloses that for 2023 you are in a 9-cycle year of a nine year cycle phase.

This is the closing year of a nine-year cycle and conditions will be rather indefinite and worrying. You will reap whatever you have sown over the past eight years.

It is the year when you should reflect over the past and extract a seed from your experiences to sow in the new cycle, which begins in the following year.

Do not start anything of an important nature, invest in any enterprise, or make important changes this year because conditions are not favourable to such undertakings, any more than December would be a good month to sow seeds into the ground. This is your year to make plans for the future, but wait until your new cycle to put them into action.

During this year you will feel more emotional and more easily influenced than usual. You should put forth effort to control your temper and your emotions. Be careful in your associations and guard against doing anything that could create friction and losses in associations. This is a year when someone could come into or go out of your life. If single, you could meet someone who could have a vital influence in your life. A married person must be careful to handle personal problems intelligently and not follow the dictates of emotion, or trouble will ensue. Guard speech and moods to prevent friction in close associations.

This is not an accumulative year. Plan carefully for action and change in the following year. Make social contacts and use diplomacy and tact to further your undertakings. You are extremely negative and passive. Do not expect to conclude your affairs satisfactorily. Make plans for the future, but defer action until more active days. Be careful to avoid friction in close associations. Relax and rest.

5-14-23

(3/1 cycle day)

Be active and push your affairs especially during the morning while positive and constructive conditions exist. Much can be accomplished. Do not procrastinate. Be careful of disappointments in associations in the evening. Conditions are good during the morning for active accomplishments, but not accumulative.

6-15-24

(4/2 cycle day)

Do not be forceful, but mix and meet and further your affairs through diplomacy and tact, for there are some adverse conditions under the surface that retard active accomplishment.

This month should be more accumulative and allow you to do the things you have wanted to do for some time. This is your harvest period of this year when you reap what you have sown. If you have followed the Cycle Law for some time you should be able to sell anything of value at a profit, for conditions are more favourable for accumulation than in any other month of this year. Try to bring your affairs to a head this month because things should come your way. Your decisions are more accurate and you must back them up with initiative. Conditions are indefinite and things would not materialize even though you have an intense urge to get started. Plan for the future but defer definite action until tomorrow. Control your urge for hasty and candid speech and thus avoid friction in close associations.

3-12-21-30

(2/1 cycle day)

These are the days to start things relative to the nine-day cycle. Put forth active effort. Also, meet and mix and take advantage of the influence of others on your behalf. Take advantage of every channel during this month. These are good days for necessary change and travel.

4-13-22

(3/2 cycle day)

Conditions are purely social. Contact the public and open up new channels in your affairs. Be diplomatic, not sarcastic. You cannot force issues successfully. The morning is the best time.

5-14-23

(4/3 cycle day)

Technical detail work can be accomplished successfully before noon and much accomplished. Be very careful in associations; the afternoon is disappointing and adverse. Guard personal safety during the afternoon and evening. Control your speech.

6-15-24

(5/4 cycle day)

Be very careful to avoid accidents, especially in transportation. Avoid travel and do not expect to materialize anything of importance. Conditions are adverse. This month intensifies the conditions of the year, a year that causes you to be unsettled, for you feel changing conditions working under the surface of things. This is not a month for positive action but rather a time for reflection over the past, learning something from your past experiences and making plans for the future. You will find yourself very emotional and high-strung this month, and there may be a personal problem to solve in regard to the affections. Control your moods and speech to avoid misunderstandings. If single, this month could bring someone into your life. If married, you should be careful not to be drawn into situations that could cause friction in close associations. This possibility is always present in one's harvest period of the cycle. Plan carefully for the new cycle but defer positive action this month. This is a period when you reap what you have sown, be it adverse or constructive.

Meet and mix and make contacts in a diplomatic way. Make friendly calls but do not try to force an issue. You are passive and negative and inclined to procrastinate. These are good days to entertain or to attend to correspondence.
