Excerpt Philosophy 4, Book 7 - Alfred J. Parker

We, as Kabalarians, must have and hold to an ideal, and learn through sacrifice, concentration, and application to the Principle how to create a constructive pattern of living that all may benefit through our experiences and wisdom.

To get down to a practical basis, we should spend some time each day in constructive concentration on our possibilities and future plans; we must check up on our actions of the day, searching ourselves to see if we have sown a constructive seed, or done something worthy of service. We must have complete faith in the Principle and in our own strength to fulfil our destiny; we must value ourselves at the highest possible value, and realize that what others have done, we can do, and still more, if we follow the Principle.

We see the blueprint in our names and birthpath; it is our duty to create the circumstances through which these events and necessary contacts can culminate in our lives. We must know what we want, and then create it mentally in detail; the accomplishment will follow; however, we must keep in mind the fact of the cycles. We cannot go against the law of growth; we can intensify it through constructive action, but we cannot change the time to seed. Do not take the attitude that one's mind is strong enough to do anything it desires regardless of nature's laws. Remember that your mind is all you are; learn to know it, and then, knowing yourself and your destiny, you will be able to work with it constructively. If desire were sufficient, then dreamers would have been the most accomplished people. The actual fact is that dreams are negative, action is positive when directed consciously; the combination of the two is materialization.
