A Constructive Life Pattern

We, as Kabalarians, must have and hold to an ideal, and learn through sacrifice, concentration, and application to the Principle how to create a constructive pattern of living that all may benefit through our experiences and wisdom.

To get down to a practical basis, we should spend some time each day in constructive concentration on our possibilities and future plans; we must check up on our actions of the day, searching ourselves to see if we have sown a constructive seed, or done something worthy of service. We must have complete faith in the Principle and in our own strength to fulfil our destiny; we must value ourselves at the highest possible value, and realize that what others have done, we can do, and still more, if we follow the Principle. The Christ Principle says that with faith and application you can do even greater things than have yet been accomplished upon earth.

Thought for the Day
  • When viewing or thinking a thought, always clarify it for the value of its logic and reason; divest it of imagination, mystery, and all falseness; see the clear intent, whether constructive or otherwise, and never compromise with illogicality; a statement is, or is not. See it for what it really is, and do not attempt to clothe it with personality; this is what so often leads to jumping to conclusions and self-pity. –Alfred J. Parker

  • Every situation, properly perceived, becomes an opportunity. –Helen Schucman

  • Always seek for an ideal, an objective, and the proper method of application. Create a refined and individual personality, a happy and generous one. Develop clean and tidy habits, body cleanliness, and a clean mind. Be conservative, yet creative, in your dress. Avoid showiness in dress and loudness in speech. Make others want to pattern themselves after you: that is a well-deserved compliment, and indicates adherence to Kabalarian ethics of right thinking. –Alfred J. Parker

  • Philosophy is created to bring out the refinement and culture; to teach us constructive thinking and basically, how to think and express those thoughts through logic and truth. –Alfred J. Parker
